5 of 5 "Board Attachment", Nicky Oliver & Karen Vidler November 6, 2019
Reviewer: Philip Clarke from BRIDGWATER, SOMERSET United Kingdom
A short well illustrated pamplet (39 pages), or basic guide, describing three styles of making and attaching cases to books: cased-in, library style and laced-on boards. There is a general page covering bindery equipment and hand tools. Each book binding style has an introductory page listing specialist tools and materials and this is followed by detailed instructions liberally illustrated with clear and relevant colour photographs.Ideal for the beginner or those with some book binding skills.
