This natural goat, manufactured using pickled skins from New Zealand and Scandinavia, is ideal
for conservation, repair and restoration. Tanned with high quality sumac and tara tannages, this lightfast leather
is biscuit coloured and, with its sheep-like grain pattern, is
often used for the re-backing of old sheep and goatskin bindings
and can be supplied with an appropriate embossed grain. This
leather is supplied undyed, but is well suited for dyeing and
other treatments by the binder.
