Covering in Leather, the third in this series, takes the bookbinding process to the next stages of preparing for covering, and covering a half binding in calfskin leather and a full binding in goatskin.
Nick Cowlishaw served a six year Hand Bookbinding Apprenticeship and has been a professional bookbinder ever since, with fifty years experience of the craft. He taught Craft Bookbinding full time at the London College of Printing for 18 years and part time at Morley College London for a further 14 years. Nick and his wife Charlotte run a small bindery that was established in 1996.
